Linda asks…[REAL ESTATE EXPERTS ONLY PLEASE] What is the square footage of a house?I'm looking at real estate listings, and I'm unsure of what square footage means.
(1) IN A 2 STOREY HOUSE (with BASEMENT)
A) Is it the total inside area of ONE of the floors of the house?
B) Is it the COMBINED total inside area of the FIRST FLOOR AND SECOND FLOOR?
C) The COMBINED total inside area of ALL FLOORS (including the basement)?
D) The total are of the land the house is built on?
